9. Turn off pen flicks
Frankly, I’ve never used pen flicks and I don’t really know what they’re meant to do. I believe they were a legacy solution prior to the introduction of touch scrolling and were meant to give your pen mouse-like functionality. But whatever they are, pen flicks can interfere with the operation of your favorite application and should be disabled.
Tap the Windows key on your keyboard or tablet and type ‘flicks.’ Tapping “Turn flicks on and off” will call up the Pen and Touch control panel. Untick the Use flicks box and exit by tapping Ok.
