Observations:
Another close cousin of FireAlpaca, MediBang Paint and MangaLabo (not featured here because it was last updated in 2012), openCanvas seems fairly modern but at the price and with very few tablet PC friendly attributes, it’s hard to come up with a reason to look into it.
I wasn’t able to turn up many screenshots but the software does have a decent online manual and a 120 day trial if you insists on playing with it.
