If you've been reading this blog long enough, you'll know that I love to post reviews by full-time digital or traditional artists.
I may think the Surface Pro, another Windows 8 tablet or a specific software tool is great, but I've never had to make a living from my art the way many of these talented individuals do.
So when I read an opinion from someone who can bring that professional perspective to bear, I sit up and pay attention and hope that you will too.
Earlier this week, Michelle Kondrich, a Denver-based freelance illustrator specializing in ink and watercolor paintings, posted a detailed review of her first couple of months with the Surface Pro.
" Overall, the Surface Pro does exactly what I was looking for in a drawing tablet," Kondrich writes. "The verdict is in and Iām very happy with it."
Michelle told me via Twitter (@MissIllustrator) that "Digital painting is still something I'm perfecting." Judging by her first couple of illustrations seen here, she's being falsely modest.
