The serious fun has begun. As we were lamenting only last week, the Surface Pro and all other Windows tablets have been hurt by the lack of touch-friendly apps available on other platforms.
Adobe did Microsoft and its users a huge service this morning by releasing Adobe Photoshop Express, the free photo manipulation tool that integrates nicely with their Creative Cloud suite of products.
As a 1.0 release, the app is sure to have its limitations, but you can be sure that it will improve as 100 million Windows 8 users begin to install and put it through its paces.
We hope that the next release is Adobe Photoshop Touch, which for $4.99 on the iPhone and iPad includes more painting and image editing capabilities.
